Qatar will export up to 3.75 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas annually to Pakistan under a 15-year deal sign yesterday during an official visit by the south Asian country’s prime minister.

While only a fraction of Qatar’s annual LNG exports, the deal comes as the Gulf country faces increased competition due to additional production in Australia and the US.
