Constructing a new embassy in Doha’s Tornado Tower could involve “the most expensive fit-out in the history of (Australia’s) public works committee,” according to one of that country’s senators.

ABC News said Alex Gallacher was reacting to estimates that it would cost more than A$7 million (QR18.2 million) to outfit the 895-square-metre space in West Bay / Dafna. Australia announced plans to open an embassy in Qatar last May.
