The UK’s heir to the throne, the Prince of Wales, and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, have begun their visit to Qatar during the Qatar UK 2013 Year of Culture.

While here, the couple will be meeting with the Qatari Royal Family and senior officials, as well as learn more about British technology, innovation and educational partnerships with Qatar.

Meanwhile, the Financial Times reports that Qatar has begun talks with the UK government to invest up to $15 billion into key infrastructure projects in Britain.
